My Purpose "For Jessie"

We all want to do something to show support and help Jessie in any way that we can. This is why I created this blog "for Jessie". This will be a way to update everyone on her progress, and allow others to show their support as well. She is overwhelmed with the support that she is already receiving, and she feels very loved and encouraged. My hope is to post specific prayer request so that we can lift Jessie to the Lord, and keep encouraging her through this time in her life. Please feel free to post your comments of continued support for Jessie.

Great Idea Janel!~
Jess,
You are the strongest, bravest person I know. You are an inspiration to all of us. Your beautiful smile and positive attitude is enough to make the worries of the world go away, and I am sure that with all of the people who love and care for you praying for you, everything will turn out. I take so much pride to call you a friend (and not to mention my stylist). We are praying and thinking of you often. See you soon.

Hey, it's Jessie here! Janel-this is great. Thank you everyone for your comments, and prayers. All of the awesome support we have received with visits, cards, phone calls, and gifts of money are so amazing and are really carrying us through. I don't know if I'll ever be able to express my gratitude enough to all of the awesome girls at work along with a great and caring clientel that that comes in and out of there! I apologize to those of you who have called and I have not always returned your calls, It's been a bit crazy, and I'm just trying to spend as much time with Luke and Mike as possible (I hope everyone understands). It's amazing how your life can change so quickly. I do believe that it is God's desire for me to live a long and healthy life, there just may be some struggle along the way. I'm feeling well right now and praying for great outcomes with my upcoming fight. I'll keep in touch and keep praying!! I love you all very much!! Jess

Hi Jessie! Just a little note for you…

It was great to see you guys at the FCFair the other day.

I can’t even comprehend all of those percentages that you are now dealing with, but I thought I’d give you some from me:

I am 100% sure that you are awesome!

I am 100% sure that you are one of the kindest people I’ve ever met.

I am 100% sure that you are dearly loved by anyone that has met you.

I am 72% sure that I could beat you in euchre. (especially if Janel was your partner)

I am 29% sure that I’m going to ride that miniature pony of yours…

You and your family are in our prayers.

All our love,

Chad & Michelle

Jessie,
I have been wanting to call and talk to you, but I know it's probably pretty hectic right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I just want you to know you are such a strong, beautiful, amazing woman. I cherish our friendship so much, and if there is anything I can do at all to help you out in any way, please do not hesitate to call. You gave me that wonderful smile and a hug when I needed it most. You even made my hair look wonderful before my surgery!
You are loved and cared for very much. Be strong, and give it all to God and he will take care of you.

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31

Love Always,
Deneen Pontious

Jessie, Iam amazed by your spirit and positive attitude. Isn't is wonderful to live in a community where people are so caring and generous. The prayers that are heartfelt alone are such an inspiration. God is THERE even when we don't feel like HE is. Just like the "Footprints in the Sand" story- it is literally when we need it the most that HE is carrying us through the bad times. How awesome to have that gift of love!
Studio66 would like to thank all Jessie's clients for making all the rescheduling of her appointments go so well. We are trying our best to get them in ASAP and do the job as close to Jessie as possible!(smile) Please keep up the prayers and cards and all the well wishes for JESSIE,MIKE,and LUKE!!!
all our love, Kyle, Paula, Danielle and Karinne Moore

Jessie,
I just wanted to let you know that Justin and I are praying for you daily as you go through this difficult time. I also wanted to tell you how happy I am that my sister has such a strong, awesome, and beautiful best friend. Not only are you one of Jamie's best friends, but you have become very close to my entire family. We all love you so much! You are like one of the Ruffer "sisters" : ) Anyone who knows you knows that you are just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. I know that your strong faith will get you through this, and when you are tired remember that you are not alone!

prayers and love,
Lindsi Ruffer

Jessie,
You don't know me but a prayer request was sent through our lia sophia family from Deana N. I want you to know that I am praying for you and your family!! My dad went through a similar thing. I wanted to share his SUCCESS story. My dad woke up with a severe pain in his head and then he had double vision. He of course was sent for a cat scan and all other kinds of tests. They discovered a brain tumor also. He was sent to Ann Arbor for his brain tumor surgery. His tumor went from behind the eye to the back of his brain. We were told that if nerve of the eye was touched he would be blind. So we were scared for both the tumor and the removal and then blindness if he were to recover. After 12 hours of surgery the tumor was removed successfully and it was NOT cancerous!! The tumor had been growing on the eye nerve his whole life so when the tumor was removed it left his eye in the corner of his nose. After 3 more surgery's my dad's eye is centered and the last surgery gave him single vision again!!! He has corrections in his glasses but all is good. It took 3 years for all of this to become what it is today. The verse that got me through all of this is Hebrew's 11:1 FAITH is being sure of what we hope foe and certain of what we do NOT see!!! Have the FAITH in our LORD Jesus Christ and cast all of your concerns and worries onto him. NOTHING is to BIG for our Lord!!! Blessings and Prayers!! Allie Hewkin

Hello!! Jessie here again. I just wrote a really nice long comment, then lost it so this one may be on the shorter side. Tomorrow starts our week at Cleveland Hosp. I'm feeling good about everything, I'm sure there will be tough times ahead, but thanks to all the support we've had and faith in God, we're going to get through this and I'm going to be fine! I want to make sure that everyone who has called or stopped by and we've either not been home or what ever, please know that we appreciate everything!! Our time with Luke has been limited so we are trying to make the most of it! If we have not returned your call, please know it does not go unnoticed, but instead it lifts us up and puts a smile on our face and keeps us strong!! I hope someday someway I will be able to return all of the awesome generosity we have been receiving! We will be in touch and I'm sure Janel will be keeping you informed. Thanks again Janel!!!!!!
Keep up the prayers, they are going to work!!! Love, Jess and the boys!

Jessie, you are so special to our family (you are family). Although you and Kristen have grown up and moved on with your lives, you are still that same girl who used to take Audrey's car and drive up to Tedrow to hang out with us!! The one thing that both of our families found as we all got older is our love of our Lord. What can be more wonderful than that!! He has helped us get through our trying times the last few years and He will do the same for you. It may be tough at times but with God's support and the support of your friends and family, you'll be fine. We will have you in our prayers along with all the doctors/nurses that are going to help you on your road to recovery. I look forward to a mother/daughter outing with you and Audrey soon!! Love you lots, Cindi
