Praying for Healing

Jessie traveled back to Cleveland yesterday for her post-surgery appointment. Test results after her surgery have come back. They have changed her diagnosis to a higher grade, faster-growing cancer. They are working and waiting on other test results to come back to create a plan for her treatments. She will most likely not get these results until the middle of next week. As you can imagine, it was a hard day for Jessie. Please continue praying for strength, her spirits, and healing for her body.

Every morning when I get up the first thing I do is log on to your web site and check to see if there is any more info on your progress. Then I share it with my daughter and answer any questions she has. When I saw the last entry I have to say those words stopped me in my tracks. I am so sorry that things aren't going as well as we all hoped but this just means that you'll have to work a little harder and I know you can beat this. You are such a strong person Jessie. Everyone knows that and so do you. So please stay possitive and show this cancer what you are made of! We are all here praying for you. So please keep your head up Jessie.

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers and we will continue to ask God to help you through all of this.

Jessie,
I'm one of your Aunt Becky's Eastern Star friends and you have a lot of us keeping you close in prayer. I would again remind you of Jeremiah 29:11 "I know the plans I have for you..." and never never forget that God is holding you ever-so-tightly. You know that ripple in the stream is never fully appreciated until you see the smooth waters ahead...Keep looking and so will we...Sending love and strength your way!!

Jessie,
Amber and I pray every night for you and your family. Initially it was for God to give the Dr's the knowledge and skill to remove the bump/"owie" in your head. We now pray for God to make you better. I think about you several time a day and say a quick prayer every time. God has given you wisdom beyond your years as evidenced by your preparation for this difficult time. I had a very persistent woman on Wednesday who would not let me treat her until she told me a story and then made me promise to tell those around me that GOD has a mission for them. She said we will not know what it is but need to believe in our hearts that it is important. I believe she was an angel preparing me for the news I just read. I feel God has a very important job for you and this is only a hurdle to make you stronger and more determined when it is time for your mission. Stay positive and continue to pray. You and your family will continue to be in our prayers here.

Jessie,
Just like every day i say a prayer for you and your family for strength and courage to face another day. And today I found this poem just after reading the last blog on your site.
I said a prayer for you today and know God must have heard I felt the answer in my heart although He spoke no word i asked that He'd be near you at the start of each new day To grant you health and blessings and friends to share the way I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small, But it was for his loving care i prayed the most of all.
Jessie please know that the Plassman family has you in every thought and prayer. Everyone keeps talking about your smile and that is awesome. Because you do have an awesome smile and it is missed by all. So continue to smile and get better, so all of us can see that awesome smile SOON!!
May you continue with your Faith and Strength in God and YOURSELF!

When Kristen told me about your results, I was definately caught off guard as I'm sure you and your family were too. You are family. Your pain is ours. Seeing you at church on Sunday was the greatest gift I could have been given that day. Your stength and faith is amazing. I am so glad that you realize that you are not alone, that God is carrying you now. And just reading the comments from friend and family lifts me up as I'm sure it does you too. You are such a special person with a personality that touches all who come in touch with you. We've heard testimonies of God's healing and I wait for the day when I will hear your testimony of His healing. Be positive despite the news you received. They are words and with you and God on the same team, this cancer stuff doesn't have a chance!! Love you lots, Cindi

Jessie,

Oh my, where to begin. One thing I know for sure, the Lord WILL provide a way for us to talk. I am going to leave it up to you. I am praying for you! I know that I know that our God is "THE MASTER PHYSICIAN"! HE CAN AND WILL HEAL YOU!.

In John 14: 12-14, Jesus says..I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do what ever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.

Our God never changes! He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus healed the sick. His words. . . . ANYONE who has faith in me. . . He was not just speaking to His disciples. He is speaking to us.

Lord Jesus, I have faith in you! Great faith! I believe what you tell me in Your word. Jessie,In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I ask for complete and total healing to your spirit, soul and body. That your brain will function exactly how Father designed your brain to work. That anything that does not belong there, has to leave, In Jesus name! Amen Amen Father fill her up with You. There is NO MORE Cancer, in Jesus name.

Jessie and Audrey. I have spent a lot of time reflecting back over the past 20 years. Please pray about getting together.

Call, anytime. 419-966-2788

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you be and gracious unto you. May He fill you with His Peace.

In His Love
Marlene

Lord I thank you in advance for victory that is about to break forth. To you be the glory What a praise party there will be!

God is GOOD.....All the time!

I really wish that your news you get this week will be much better than you got last time. YOU have strength, positive attitude, and the power of prayer with whom all have gotten to know you during your difficult time. This is definitely NOT fair! It REALLY absolutely Stinks that anyone should have to go through this, ever!!
I MISS YOU and YOUR BEAUTIFUL SMILE!!!

When I read the new diagnosis, I was overcome with sadness and sorrow but just for a second. Then I remembered just how powerful our God is, how loving, how just one Word from Him healed others! Jessie, you are healed! Despite the manifestations that you may see or hear, despite what the doctor's say or how your body feels, remember that God is in control and He has you in the palm of His hand. This "natural" world can be deceiving, stay in God's spiritual realm - that's where the power is! God is the Great Physician, keep believing and trusting God. Hold tightly to your faith and know that your friends and family lift you up daily in prayer! My daily prayer is "Thank you Lord for the healing in Jessie's body, thank you for the restoration of her health. All the glory and honor her testimony will bring to You will demonstrate your power on earth. Others will marvel at your power and be led to you. Thank you Father for the day when Jessie is able to shout it from the rooftops, I AM HEALED!!"

Hi Jessie! I recieved an email today that made me think of you. It has such a wonderful message and I just couldn't help but share it with you.

Two Horses...
Just up the road from my home is a field with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse. But if you stop your car or are walking by you will notice something quite amazing. Looking into the eyes of the one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing. If you stand nearby and listen you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field. Attached to the horse's halter is a small bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is so he can follow. As you stand and watch these two friends you'll see that the horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is trusting that he will not be let astray. When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening it stops occasionally and looks back making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses God does not throw us away just becasue we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need. Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping other to find thier way. Good friends are like that...you may not always see them, buy you know they are always there.

Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours.

And remember...be kinder than necessary-everyone you meet it fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,
Love generously,
Care deeply,
Speak kindly...
Leave the rest to God.

:) I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. And I pray that your ears hear each bell that all of your friends are ringing for you...including Jessica and mine!
