Test Results
Jessie will be having surgery on Tuesday morning at the Cleveland Clinic. She will arrive in Cleveland, Monday morning for her pre-op. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Barnett who is the chairman of the board of brain surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. The surgery will last from 5-7 hours. Jessie will be awake during the surgery. There will be neurologist who will be speaking to her all through out the surgery, and she will be quizzed with flash cards as well. She will most likely have no memory of this when she wakes up in recovery, and may stay in recovery though out the night. Test results did come back that her brain tumor is a low-grade cancer, but the cells are mature and slow growing and should respond to chemotherapy. At some point she will be taking 5 pills a day, for 5 days, every 28 days. This routine will last for a year. She will continue to have MRI pictures taken every 3 months, and will have blood drawn often. If everything goes according to plan, she will be in the hospital 2-4 days and in a Cleveland hotel for another night after that. Jessie's attitude continues to be positive, and she remains very optimistic. Keep praying that her spirits remain high and please keep Mike, Audrey, and Luke in your prayers as well.

Jessie, I talked to Michelle today and she told me about your results. Please know that I continue to pray for you. I pray that the surgery on Tuesday goes well and I pray for your family as they wait during the surgery. Remember that God is always by your side and will be holding your hand through it all! Keep your postive attitude-it will help in your healing! Take care. Love, Sandy Wyse

Jessie, My girls and I have been praying for you every night before bed. Maryn remembers you as the "pretty blonde girl that works with Aunt Janel:)." Bob and I have also been praying and have shared our request for you with our SS class at church. We will pray for wisdom for the doctors, strength for you and your family and God's grace to be evident to you. Love you, Missy
Hey girl, so it wasn't the resluts we wanted to hear, but we do know the power of prayer. Today at Evan we were asked to write a prayer request that will be placed on a wall for others to pray for also. What a "God thing" that this particular sermon was placed on Pastor Brad's heart. I know there were requests placed for you and your family.
Stay strong, hold onto the truths that you do know - God will be by your side.
We will continue to pray for you, your family, the medical team, recovery, and that needs are met.
Love ya ~ Virginia Minton
Jessie and family,
Please know that we continue to pray for all of you. We have been here at Cleveland since Chelsey's helicopter ride here on Friday. It sounds as though we will be at the Clinic all week. Please let us know if there is anything we can do or if there is anything at all we can help with.

Hi Jessie. This is Julie Weber. I just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers. I can't imagine how difficult this must be...but you are strong, encouraging, and filled with faith. I am eagerly awaiting good news here in California. You are loved and so special. I am praying for lil' man Luke, and big man in your life too. :). You are amazing, keep the faith. Love, Dave and Julie Weber
Jessie,
You don't know me personlly, I am a close friend of Missy McCabe, and by default Janel (how can you love one and not the other?!). The last time Janel did my hair, you were also working and the three of us shared a few laughs. Your husband and son also came to visit you. I am so happy I saw all of you that night because it makes your situation so real to me. Today is a somber day as two of my family members as well as you are all in surgery for very serious health problems. I have been praying and crying all morning. People that you don't know are praying for you at my church in Michigan and at my parents large church in Arizona (they live close to Missy and her family). God's perfect will is at work, and His grace is sufficient. I pray that these truth remain evident to you as you recover.
Continually praying,
Milissa Cosby
